The Science Initiative of Central Minnesota (SICM) has been helping to drive science-based industry growth in Central Minnesota for the . A coalition of business, government and education leaders started the nonprofit about four years ago to promote the area's strengths and attract high-paying bioscience jobs to the region.

Fourteen businesses and organizations have rallied around the initiative since its inception, providing financial and administrative assistance. A core group of individuals from these organizations meet on a each monthly to provide guidance and continue to set direction for the project. Learn more about our progress.
